Our belief is that in treating our clients fairly and getting to know them well, we can deliver clear and concise financial advice to help our clients meet their goals, and long term relationships will prosper.
Client Profiles
We provide financial advice for businesses and private clients and work with other professionals to create and manage a comprehensive plan for our clients.
Our clients are from many and diverse backgrounds we look after private individuals and corporate clients, with many and wide-ranging needs. However, they have one thing in common in that they are serious about financial planning and entrust this important aspect of their lives to Atholl Scott. Our strengths include straightforward communication, through analysis and high ethical standards, but the most important aspect is that we listen and treat each client individually.
Advice process and cost of our services
We offer an initial meeting to all new clients, with no obligation, spending our first meeting together discussing objectives and priorities so that we get to know you and what your aims and objectives are. Our consultations aim to find out more about a client’s attitude to investment risk and any past investment experiences, as well as looking at what the main aims and goals are for the future.
We will then explain our service levels we feel would suit best and can then agree the most suitable way forward and at this stage the cost of our service from then on is agreed. Cost of our services may be a one off fee for a financial planning project, or more likely an ongoing fee for initial work as well as ongoing work to keep in touch with clients and continually review their finances and circumstances and priorities each year.
We prefer to build longer term relationships with clients rather than one off transactions as we aim to make sure that customer service and keeping in touch for regular updates is at the heart of the service we provide. At all stages within our advisory process we aim to be clear and transparent about what we are recommending and what our charges and service agreements will be.
Ethics
Our clients and the customer service that we provide is at the heart of what we do. At all stages within our advisory service and in our ongoing contact we aim to be clear, friendly and professional in order to act as your trusted adviser.
Links between our financial services and accountancy practice go back as far as 1965 when advice on financial matters was first provided when the accountancy firm was set up. Many of our clients have used both sets of Atholl Scott services for many years and have built up long lasting relationships with us.
